Design Your Apex Garage Around Your Space and Style

Each apex garage can be built to your exact needs. Whether it’s a dual-door drive-in layout, workshop with storage racks, or modular garden building, Noah’s design flexibility means the structure fits your lifestyle and site. From compact urban plots to wider countryside gardens, we adapt the design to work with your space.

01.

Choose Your Size and Layout

Go single or double-width. Add extra length for workspace, overhead storage, or a rear door for garden access. Split interiors can create zones for tools, vehicles, or hobbies.

02.

Select Materials and Cladding

Timber offers a warm, traditional feel, cedar adds premium grain and longevity, while composite boards reduce upkeep. Match your garage to your home exterior or garden design with our wide range of finishes.

03.

Optimise Doors and Openings

From wide drive-in access to secure side entries, choose from up-and-over, hinged, or roller doors. Optional windows, skylights, or glazed sections add natural light and ventilation.

04.

Finish With Features That Work

Enhance comfort and usability with internal linings, thermal insulation, integrated power, lighting, and even reinforced floors for heavy equipment.

Built to Last With Strong Timber Framework and Apex Support

These garages aren’t just attractive—they’re engineered to last. Noah apex garages are constructed using robust trusses and fully insulated panels, designed to withstand the UK climate. It’s not just about strength; it’s about reliability, comfort, and a low-maintenance lifespan that gives you confidence every season.

Year-Round Insulation

Insulated for All-Season Use

Panels and roof sections are fitted with high-grade insulation to keep warmth in and moisture out. This ensures a dry, comfortable interior for equipment or workspace use.

Durable Construction

Heavy-Duty Framework

Our timber frames are built using pressure-treated supports and smart joinery techniques. These materials resist warping, sagging, and rot over time.

Pitched Roof Drainage

The sloped apex roof design naturally encourages water runoff, preventing leaks and reducing long-term water damage to the structure.

Built-In Security

Weatherproofed Exterior

Pressure treatment protects timber from damp. Cedar’s natural oils offer built-in defence, while composite boards maintain colour and structure without fuss.

From ordering through to delivery the service was faultless. The Ashbourne garden room is well designed and solidly constructed. Communication from the Noah team was excellent with lots of updates and advice. The fitters arrived spot on time and worked hard to complete the installation, were very friendly and conscientious. They left the room and surrounding area spotless. Would not hesitate to recommend Noah to anyone considering getting a garden room from them.

I purchased a Mylor composite garden office from Noah garden rooms. Initially my partner and I were trepidatious about the base and delivery and the length of our garden as the stipulations by Noah were quite specific and our garden was quite away from the main road. I sent a video and multiple pictures of the site and then the base after it had been constructed, all the while liaising with Megan and Tilly at customer services to make sure everything went smoothly. On the day of the delivery the lads turned up nice and early and began work straight away. They didn’t mention how far away the site was or that we had to help because of the distance, just began work on the office. Unlike some workmen who spend all their time having lunch in their van these boys worked hard and for the two days kept me upto date as they went. I’m very happy with the office itself and can understand why the specifications are so specific. It’s been a month now and I love it, I spend a lot of time in there and have now made half into a library. Would recommend Noah to anybody who listened.

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Really knowledgeable staff and so so helpful. Megan was so patient in answering all of my ridiculous questions. I have never ordered anything like this before, but the process was so easy and I felt very confident in what I was ordering as the website is really easy to navigate with really helpful information. The room was delivered and erected seamlessly with really polite, knowledgeable and courteous workmen. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. I absolutely love my garden room – everything is exactly as I ordered and it looks fantastic. All of my expectations have been exceeded. I can’t believe what an easy and calm process it was from start to finish. Thank you so much.

Do You Need Planning Permission for an Apex Garage?

In most cases, apex garages fall under permitted development rights. As a general rule, if your structure is under 2.5 m in height and positioned within your back garden, it will typically meet these guidelines without formal consent.

However, larger footprints or buildings installed in conservation areas may require planning checks. It’s worth confirming the details with your local authority. Read our full Planning Guide for more information.
