Design Your Shed

Your shed should work the way you do and support the tasks you carry out in your garden or outdoor space. With Noah, every shed is created to match your needs, preferences, and daily routines.

You can personalise the design so it functions as practical storage, a tidy garden workspace, or a multi-purpose area that suits your lifestyle. Your shed becomes a reliable and well-planned part of your home environment.

Choose Your Configuration

Pick a layout, access point, and size that suit your available garden footprint and intended use. Think about whether you need single or double doors, extra headroom, or specific window placements. Planning your configuration carefully ensures the shed is easy to use and provides the right amount of space for tools, equipment, or hobbies.

Select the Material

Choose between cedar, timber, or composite cladding depending on how much maintenance you want to undertake and the look you want to achieve. Cedar offers a premium appearance, timber delivers a traditional feel, and composite provides a low-maintenance modern option. The material you select influences both the durability and the visual style of your shed.

03.

Refine the Interior

Add shelving, hooks, lighting, flooring, or storage upgrades to improve functionality. Interior customisation helps you organise your tools, equipment, and belongings so everything has its place. Whether you want a neat workshop, a clean storage solution, or a small hobby area, the right interior choices make your shed far more efficient and enjoyable to use.

Upgrade for Use

Include insulation and boarding or workspace add-ons if you want to use the shed for more than storage. These enhancements allow you to create a sheltered working environment, a gardening station, or a light-duty workshop. Upgrades also help the shed adapt to your lifestyle as your needs change over time.

Built to Protect and Perform

A Noah shed is more than just a place to store belongings. It is a high-quality, secure structure designed to withstand UK weather conditions and everyday use.

Built with reliable materials and strong craftsmanship, your shed provides long-lasting performance and dependable protection for whatever you choose to keep inside it.

Built-In Security

Weatherproof Cladding

Timber, cedar, or composite cladding options help keep the contents of your shed protected from wind, rain, and harsh weather. Each material offers excellent weather-resistant qualities, helping maintain the condition of the structure while ensuring your items remain safe and dry.

Durable Construction

Solid Frame Construction

Every shed is built using pressure-treated frames and durable wall panels that support long-term strength. This approach provides stability, reduces the risk of structural issues, and ensures the shed retains its performance for many years. The strong frame is the foundation of a secure and dependable shed.

Lockable and Secure

High-grade locks, reinforced door fittings, and strong hinges give you confidence that your shed is safe and secure. These features provide protection against the elements and add peace of mind when you store valuable items such as tools, bikes, or garden equipment.

Year-Round Insulation

Smart Interior Options

Add insulation and internal boarding through our upgrade options to make the shed usable for far more than simple storage. With insulation, the space becomes more comfortable throughout the year, making it suitable for light work, hobbies, or seasonal tasks that benefit from a sheltered area.

Really happy with our garden room… From the first visit to the showroom, to the final handing over of the keys.
Sales team and build team were professional and friendly. Always responded quickly to any queries and changes we wanted.
Left the site clean tidy on completion.
The room is exactly as imagined and can’t wait to start using it. Sure to add value to our property.

From ordering through to delivery the service was faultless. The Ashbourne garden room is well designed and solidly constructed. Communication from the Noah team was excellent with lots of updates and advice. The fitters arrived spot on time and worked hard to complete the installation, were very friendly and conscientious. They left the room and surrounding area spotless. Would not hesitate to recommend Noah to anyone considering getting a garden room from them.

— Tony Lawther

I purchased a Mylor composite garden office from Noah garden rooms. Initially my partner and I were trepidatious about the base and delivery and the length of our garden as the stipulations by Noah were quite specific and our garden was quite away from the main road. I sent a video and multiple pictures of the site and then the base after it had been constructed, all the while liaising with Megan and Tilly at customer services to make sure everything went smoothly. On the day of the delivery the lads turned up nice and early and began work straight away. They didn’t mention how far away the site was or that we had to help because of the distance, just began work on the office. Unlike some workmen who spend all their time having lunch in their van these boys worked hard and for the two days kept me upto date as they went. I’m very happy with the office itself and can understand why the specifications are so specific. It’s been a month now and I love it, I spend a lot of time in there and have now made half into a library. Would recommend Noah to anybody who listened.

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Really knowledgeable staff and so so helpful. Megan was so patient in answering all of my ridiculous questions. I have never ordered anything like this before, but the process was so easy and I felt very confident in what I was ordering as the website is really easy to navigate with really helpful information. The room was delivered and erected seamlessly with really polite, knowledgeable and courteous workmen. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. I absolutely love my garden room – everything is exactly as I ordered and it looks fantastic. All of my expectations have been exceeded. I can’t believe what an easy and calm process it was from start to finish. Thank you so much.

Do You Need Planning Permission for a Shed?

As a general rule, if the shed stays under 30 sq m, 2.5 metres in height and is located within your rear garden, it will typically meet permitted development guidelines. If you live in a listed building or within a conservation area, we suggest you speak to your local council.

We’ve put together a simple guide outlining the main rules, possible exceptions, and how to ensure your garden shed remains compliant.
