Discover What Makes a Noah Garden Room Different

Take a closer look at how our rooms are crafted, installed, and enjoyed. This short video gives you a feel for the quality, space, and comfort our buildings offer, helping you picture how a garden room could enhance your everyday living.

Design Your Garden Room

Every Noah garden room is built to meet your lifestyle needs. You can shape every part of it, from the size and internal layout to your preferred finishes, heating, and lighting options.

This means the space can shift with you, whether you’re creating a quiet office, a fitness area, or an entertainment room. Because we build each room by hand bespoke to your requirements, there’s no rigid framework to work around. It’s a personalised space that adapts as your needs grow or change over time.

01.

Pick Your Layout

Start by thinking about how you’ll use the space now and in the future. The layout is more than just square footage; it’s how you move through the room, where your zones sit, and how the light enters.

Choose where doors and windows go to suit privacy and access, and consider whether you want one open space or separate areas. With flexible floorplans, you don’t have to compromise between form and function.

02.

Pick Your Cladding

Your choice of materials affects both how your room looks and how much upkeep it needs. We offer softwood timber, zero-maintenance composite, and high-end cedar cladding.

Timber suits a natural style, while composite is more modern and easy to care for. Cedar is valued for its natural look and durability.

The material you pick will define the room’s look and feel for years, so it’s worth thinking through carefully.

03.

Pick your finish

Finishings help the room feel complete and personal. Choose from a range of laminate floor colours, internal paint colours, lighting, and plug socket options.

Whether you want a clean, minimalist studio or a warm, cosy retreat, your choices here make the space truly yours. The small details matter just as much as the structure itself.

04.

Pick Your Upgrades

If you know your needs may change, build that flexibility in from day one. Features like Air conditioning, heating, extra sockets, more lighting, Thicker insulation, or even SIPS (structurally insulated roof and floor panels) which are easier to include during the build than afterwards.

You might start with a gym and later convert the space into a home business or hobby workshop. These touches make the room more functional and future-ready without needing rework later on.

Built to Last, Ready for Life

Every Noah garden room is made with daily use in mind. That means a focus on strength, comfort, and materials that hold up over time. Whether you’re in the room to work, relax, or entertain, it needs to feel solid and dependable. All our builds are made in-house with close attention to quality. You’ll notice the difference in how it looks, how it feels, and how it lasts. At Noah, we ensure the highest quality for the best prices in the UK! Year-Round Insulation

Year-Round Insulation

Comfort matters in every season, which is why our walls, floor, and roof are fully insulated. You won’t need to layer up in winter or worry about overheating in summer. Our insulation is built into every panel, helping to regulate temperature and reduce energy use. This makes your garden room usable year-round, whether it’s for daily work or weekend downtime.

Durable Construction

Durable Construction

We only use pressure-treated timber and build grade materials, so your structure stands strong against the British weather. The build includes water-resistant layers, sealed joins, and secure fixings throughout. From the base to the roof, the construction is solid and reliable. It’s made to last without demanding constant upkeep, and it keeps looking good with minimal effort.

Climate Comfort

All Garden Rooms comes with spot lights as standard. All of this makes your garden room a genuine part of your home, not just an outdoor space.

How Your Garden Room Comes Together

Our process is straightforward and handled in-house from start to finish. That means your room is designed, built, delivered, and installed by our team, not subcontracted out. This gives you a smoother experience and full accountability at each step.

1

Design & Quote

We begin with a simple consultation to get a clear idea of what you want. This can be based on one of our model layouts or fully made to measure. Once we understand the layout, size, and features you want, we send a no-obligation quote with all the details included.

2

Build to Order

After you confirm your order, we begin the manufacturing stage. Every panel is made by our team in Shropshire. We don’t use bulk kits or pre-set units. Your garden room is made to order with the build grade materials and cladding you’ve chosen.

3

Preparation & Delivery

We’ll talk you through what’s needed to get your site ready. That includes the base, access route, and any delivery instructions. If required, we offer ground screw foundations as a simple and fast alternative to concrete. Ask our team for more information if you would like your base to be included.

4

Installation Day

On the day, our install team arrives ready to complete the build efficiently. Because most of the structure is pre-made, we can usually install your garden room in just a few days. Once installed, the room is finished, functional, and ready for you to use.

Really happy with our garden room… From the first visit to the showroom, to the final handing over of the keys.
Sales team and build team were professional and friendly. Always responded quickly to any queries and changes we wanted.
Left the site clean tidy on completion.
The room is exactly as imagined and can’t wait to start using it. Sure to add value to our property.

From ordering through to delivery the service was faultless. The Ashbourne garden room is well designed and solidly constructed. Communication from the Noah team was excellent with lots of updates and advice. The fitters arrived spot on time and worked hard to complete the installation, were very friendly and conscientious. They left the room and surrounding area spotless. Would not hesitate to recommend Noah to anyone considering getting a garden room from them.

— Tony Lawther

I purchased a Mylor composite garden office from Noah garden rooms. Initially my partner and I were trepidatious about the base and delivery and the length of our garden as the stipulations by Noah were quite specific and our garden was quite away from the main road. I sent a video and multiple pictures of the site and then the base after it had been constructed, all the while liaising with Megan and Tilly at customer services to make sure everything went smoothly. On the day of the delivery the lads turned up nice and early and began work straight away. They didn’t mention how far away the site was or that we had to help because of the distance, just began work on the office. Unlike some workmen who spend all their time having lunch in their van these boys worked hard and for the two days kept me upto date as they went. I’m very happy with the office itself and can understand why the specifications are so specific. It’s been a month now and I love it, I spend a lot of time in there and have now made half into a library. Would recommend Noah to anybody who listened.

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Really knowledgeable staff and so so helpful. Megan was so patient in answering all of my ridiculous questions. I have never ordered anything like this before, but the process was so easy and I felt very confident in what I was ordering as the website is really easy to navigate with really helpful information. The room was delivered and erected seamlessly with really polite, knowledgeable and courteous workmen. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. I absolutely love my garden room – everything is exactly as I ordered and it looks fantastic. All of my expectations have been exceeded. I can’t believe what an easy and calm process it was from start to finish. Thank you so much.

Do You Need Planning Permission for a Garden Room?

Most garden rooms fall under permitted development rights, but some areas—such as conservation zones—can have different rules. It’s best to check with your local council. If you live in a listed building, you may need planning permission.

As a general guide, a garden room under 30 sq m, no higher than 2.5 m when within 2m of a boundary, and built in your rear garden will usually meet permitted development rules.

Larger buildings, structures used for business, anything over 2.5 m near a boundary, or projects within conservation areas may still require approval.
