Design Your Garden Room

Every Noah garden room is built to meet your lifestyle needs. You can shape every part of it, from the size and internal layout to your preferred finishes, heating, and lighting options.

This means the space can shift with you, whether you’re creating a quiet office, a fitness area, or an entertainment room. Because we build each room by hand bespoke to your requirements, there’s no rigid framework to work around. It’s a personalised space that adapts as your needs grow or change over time.

01.

Pick Your Layout

Start by thinking about how you’ll use the space now and in the future. The layout is more than just square footage; it’s how you move through the room, where your zones sit, and how the light enters.

Choose where doors and windows go to suit privacy and access, and consider whether you want one open space or separate areas. With flexible floorplans, you don’t have to compromise between form and function.

02.

Pick Your Cladding

Your choice of materials affects both how your room looks and how much upkeep it needs. We offer softwood timber, zero-maintenance composite, and high-end cedar cladding.

Timber suits a natural style, while composite is more modern and easy to care for. Cedar is valued for its natural look and durability.

The material you pick will define the room’s look and feel for years, so it’s worth thinking through carefully.

03.

Pick your finish

Finishings help the room feel complete and personal. Internally, choose from a range of laminate floor colours, internal paint colours, lighting, and plug socket options.

Externally, you can choose your choice of cladding colour in composite and timber, along with door and window colour to suit your style and garden

The small details matter just as much as the structure itself.

04.

Pick Your Upgrades

If you know your needs may change, build that flexibility in from day one. Features like Heating, extra sockets, more lighting, Thicker insulation, or even SIPS (structurally insulated roof and floor panels) which are easier to include during the build than afterwards.

You might start with a gym and later convert the space into a home business or hobby workshop. These touches make the room more functional and future-ready without needing rework later on.

Built to Last, Ready for Life

Every Noah garden room is made with daily use in mind. That means a focus on strength, comfort, and materials that hold up over time. Whether you’re in the room to work, relax, or entertain, it needs to feel solid and dependable. All our builds are made in-house with close attention to quality. You’ll notice the difference in how it looks, how it feels, and how it lasts. At Noah, we ensure the highest quality for the best prices in the UK! Year-Round Insulation

Year-Round Insulation

Comfort matters in every season, which is why our walls, floor, and roof are fully insulated. You won’t need to layer up in winter or worry about overheating in summer. Our insulation is built into every panel, helping to regulate temperature and reduce energy use. This makes your garden room usable year-round, whether it’s for daily work or weekend downtime.

Durable Construction

Durable Construction

We only use pressure-treated timber and build grade materials, so your structure stands strong against the British weather. The build includes water-resistant layers, sealed joins, and secure fixings throughout. From the base to the roof, the construction is solid and reliable. It’s made to last without demanding constant upkeep, and it keeps looking good with minimal effort.

Climate Comfort

Every garden room includes options to keep the climate comfortable. You can add heating systems with your order to include a wall panel heater or install your own air conditioning for the best of both worlds. All Garden Rooms comes with spot lights as standard. How Your Garden Room Comes Together

Our process is straightforward and handled in-house from start to finish. That means your room is designed, built, delivered, and installed by our team, not subcontracted out. This gives you a smoother experience and full accountability at each step.

1

Design & Quote

We begin with a simple consultation to get a clear idea of what you want. This can be based on one of our model layouts or fully custom to your design. Once we understand the layout, size, and features you want, we send a no-obligation quote with all the details included.

2

Build to Order

After you confirm your order, we begin the manufacturing stage. Every panel is made by our team in Shropshire. We don’t use bulk kits or pre-set units. Your garden room is made to order using Noah’s trusted build grade materials, along with the cladding you’ve chosen and any customisations.

3

Preparation & Delivery

We’ll talk you through what’s needed to get your site ready. That includes the base, access route, and any delivery instructions. Noah offers foundation options so we can handle start to finish for you. When including a base with Noah, we offer a fast, mess free alternative to concrete. Ask our team for more information if you would like your base to be included.

4

Installation Day

On the day, our install team arrives ready to complete the build efficiently. Because most of the structure is pre-made, we can usually install your garden room in just a few days. Once installed, the room is finished, functional, and ready for you to use.

The team from Noah Garden Rooms were absolutely first class. They arrived on time, were friendly, efficient and got straight on with the job. The building itself is superb quality and construction, and I could not be more pleased.

— Richard Lazenby

The sales team were very helpful at the start and made adding optional extras to the garden room very easy. The quality of the garden room is excellent and the installation team were great. They arrived on time, were friendly, talked me through the process and completed the installation to a high standard.

— Mark Carter-Morris

I cannot fault Noah Garden Rooms. From the first contact with Tilly through to delivery and assembly by Harry and Mat, the whole process was faultless, professional and friendly. I would have no problem using Noah again and would happily recommend them to anyone planning a new garden building.

— Alan Yates

Overall, Noah Garden Rooms have been fabulous. We were impressed with how much scope there was to personalise the build, including the style and location of the window. Installation was incredibly smooth and impressive, with the team arriving early and completing our 8ft x 8ft garden room by the end of the day. The room looks fantastic and we cannot wait to use it. We will be happy to recommend Noah Garden Rooms to anyone who asks.

— Helen Strother

The team took care of everything from start to finish and the build went very smoothly. The team showed real care throughout, and the electrician explained everything clearly. The garden pod is now up and running with the bar installed and the TV up. Everyone likes what has been done.

— William Barlow

I was a little nervous about ordering from a company I did not know much about, but after doing plenty of research I am so glad I chose Noah Garden Rooms. The Otley Deluxe is fantastic, the reinforced floor feels really solid and the room looks great. The fitters, John and Darren, were friendly, skilled and efficient, and I have already used the garden room lots. I would happily recommend Noah Garden Rooms and would use them again in the future.

— Emma Taylor

Do You Need Planning Permission for a Garden Room?

Most garden rooms fall under permitted development rights, but some areas—such as conservation zones—can have different rules. It’s best to check with your local council. If you live in a listed building, you may need planning permission.

As a general guide, a garden room under 30 sq m, no higher than 2.5 m when within 2m of a boundary, and built in your rear garden will usually meet permitted development rules.

Larger buildings, structures used for business, anything over 2.5 m near a boundary, or projects within conservation areas may still require approval.
