Cedar garden buildings bring timeless style, warm materials and functional value to any outdoor space. Whether you need a dedicated studio, guest room, hobby space or office, a cedar-clad structure provides comfort and beauty throughout the seasons. These handcrafted buildings are not only practical but also visually appealing, naturally insulating and built with longevity in mind.
Cedar’s pleasant scent, low toxicity and durability make it a premium choice for homeowners who want more than a standard outbuilding. With a natural look that matures gracefully, cedar buildings feel like a true extension of your home.

Cedar garden buildings offer more than just extra room, they provide a flexible space that adapts to how you live, work and unwind. Whether used as a home office, therapy room, creative studio or peaceful retreat, these rooms combine quality craftsmanship with everyday comfort. The tactile charm of cedar wood adds warmth, while its natural resistance to rot and insects makes it a practical long-term choice.
Each building is made in the UK using Western Red Cedar cladding, insulated panels and premium joinery techniques.

At Noah Garden Rooms, we design and build premium-quality garden rooms that combine craftsmanship, durability, and style — all at the most competitive prices in the UK.
We’re proud to be 5-star rated by our customers for our exceptional quality, service, and value. And if you’d like to see the craftsmanship for yourself, visit our indoor showroom to experience the superior design and finish of our garden rooms in person.
Cedar buildings are flexible by design. Whether you’re working with a small courtyard or a wide garden plot, we tailor every build to suit your layout, taste and lifestyle. These buildings can function as home gyms, studios, annexes or quiet places to work. From modern flat-roof builds to more traditional pitched designs, we help shape the structure to reflect your vision and use case.

Choose the dimensions that fit your garden and needs best. Whether you need a single-room setup or a building with separate zones for storage, rest and work, we create layouts that support everyday living.

Pick from flat, apex or reverse apex rooflines. Add your choice of flooring, paint finishes, lighting styles and partition walls. We work with your ideas to create an interior that suits how you plan to use it.

Enhance comfort and convenience with climate control, acoustic upgrades or smart systems. Add underfloor heating, air conditioning or built-in storage depending on your priorities.

Let in natural light with large windows or bi-fold doors. Choose privacy glass, triple glazing or opening vents to improve light and ventilation without sacrificing insulation.

Cedar garden buildings are engineered to last. The materials we use are chosen for performance, weather resistance and minimal maintenance. These structures stay warm, dry and breathable throughout the year, providing a consistent interior climate no matter the season. With proper treatment, cedar cladding resists decay and retains its beauty for decades.

Our buildings feature insulated walls, floors and ceilings. Combined with cedar’s natural properties, this creates an energy-efficient space that stays warm in winter and cool in summer.

Western Red Cedar is known for its natural oils that defend against moisture and insects. You can treat the timber to maintain colour or let it weather to a silver tone over time.

From EPDM roofing to sealed windows and treated timber frames, every element of the build is selected for strength and reliability in all conditions.

Each cedar building is built by our team in Telford. We take pride in hand-finishing every panel and joint, ensuring a precise, professional result that’s ready to last.

Really happy with our garden room… From the first visit to the showroom, to the final handing over of the keys.
Sales team and build team were professional and friendly. Always responded quickly to any queries and changes we wanted.
Left the site clean tidy on completion.
The room is exactly as imagined and can’t wait to start using it. Sure to add value to our property.

From ordering through to delivery the service was faultless. The Ashbourne garden room is well designed and solidly constructed. Communication from the Noah team was excellent with lots of updates and advice. The fitters arrived spot on time and worked hard to complete the installation, were very friendly and conscientious. They left the room and surrounding area spotless. Would not hesitate to recommend Noah to anyone considering getting a garden room from them.

I purchased a Mylor composite garden office from Noah garden rooms. Initially my partner and I were trepidatious about the base and delivery and the length of our garden as the stipulations by Noah were quite specific and our garden was quite away from the main road. I sent a video and multiple pictures of the site and then the base after it had been constructed, all the while liaising with Megan and Tilly at customer services to make sure everything went smoothly. On the day of the delivery the lads turned up nice and early and began work straight away. They didn’t mention how far away the site was or that we had to help because of the distance, just began work on the office. Unlike some workmen who spend all their time having lunch in their van these boys worked hard and for the two days kept me upto date as they went. I’m very happy with the office itself and can understand why the specifications are so specific. It’s been a month now and I love it, I spend a lot of time in there and have now made half into a library. Would recommend Noah to anybody who listened.

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Really knowledgeable staff and so so helpful. Megan was so patient in answering all of my ridiculous questions. I have never ordered anything like this before, but the process was so easy and I felt very confident in what I was ordering as the website is really easy to navigate with really helpful information. The room was delivered and erected seamlessly with really polite, knowledgeable and courteous workmen. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. I absolutely love my garden room – everything is exactly as I ordered and it looks fantastic. All of my expectations have been exceeded. I can’t believe what an easy and calm process it was from start to finish. Thank you so much.

In most cases, garden rooms fall under permitted development rights, meaning you won’t usually need planning consent. However, factors such as overall size, how close the building is to boundaries or the way you plan to use the space can influence whether approval is required.
As a general rule, if your structure is under 2.5 m in height and positioned within your back garden, it will typically meet permitted development guidelines. Larger footprints, business-use studios or buildings installed in conservation areas may still require planning checks, so it’s worth confirming the details with your local authority.
We’ve put together a clear guide outlining the key requirements, exemptions and how to ensure your project stays compliant.

We have a lovely summer house from Noah that we're using as an office and it was installed in less than 2 hours. Happy with the product and service.Posted on Sarah Mirza30 May 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Show room is lovely, well worth visiting. The products are amazing, we bought a very large summer house and the total cost and value for money compared to other companies were second to none. The only issue which isn’t asked at point of sale which I have fed back is access to the garden where the product is going. Before purchasing make sure you have this conversation, we were a linked detached with only access to the garden through the garage which later cost us £300 to have to have the panels built to size to fit through the garage door and a section built a lot smaller. That being said the two guys that came to fit Paul being one, well they deserve 5* just on their own. We have never met two more, helpful, pleasant guys ever. These two are a real asset and credit to you.
We offer offices, studios, guest rooms, hobby spaces and multi-use rooms—all customisable in size, layout and finish.
