Discover What Makes a Noah Garden Room Different

At Noah Garden Rooms, we design and build premium-quality garden rooms that combine craftsmanship, durability, and style — all at the most competitive prices in the UK.

We’re proud to be 5-star rated by our customers for our exceptional quality, service, and value. And if you’d like to see the craftsmanship for yourself, visit our indoor showroom to experience the superior design and finish of our garden rooms in person.

Designed for Business Use, Heavy Workloads, or Long-Term Projects

A large garden workshop does more than just store gear. It allows you to run projects, maintain equipment, or operate a part-time business in your own space. Larger footprints give you layout flexibility and increased headroom for tool racks, full-size benches, or even mezzanine storage in some designs.

01.

Configure Your Zones and Internal Layout

Whether you want a clean room for electronics, a tool-heavy bay for woodworking, or a meeting corner, our workshops can be partitioned and finished to suit how you work.

02.

Choose Doors, Windows, and Roof Style

Go wide with double access or roller doors for large machinery. Add side doors or full-height windows for better light. Pick pent, apex, or gable roofs to shape the internal height to your needs.

03.

Add Electrics and Task Lighting

We pre-plan cable runs, sockets, and lighting points. Panel heaters, LED strips, and extraction fans can all be included at the fit-out stage to ensure a comfortable professional environment.

04.

Reinforce for Machinery and Storage

Our reinforced flooring can be strengthened specifically for heavy workbenches, stationary power tools, or industrial shelving. Wall studs are spaced to support heavy-duty racking and hangers.

Stronger Structures, Better Materials, Longer Lifespan

Big buildings need big performance. That’s why our large garden workshops are built with heavier-grade materials and structural reinforcements. Whether you need year-round comfort or guaranteed security for expensive equipment, these workshops are made to endure the demands of daily professional use.

Heavier Framing and Structural Bracing

We use thicker joists and extra roof trusses to maintain structural integrity, especially on spans over 16 ft. This prevents sagging and ensures the building stays square for decades.

Year-Round Insulation

Full-Panel Insulation and Membranes

All walls, floors, and roof panels can be fitted with high-performance insulation. Breathable linings and damp-proof courses are standard to prevent moisture issues and protect your tools from rust.

Built-In Security

Sealed Openings and Durable Finishes

Doors and windows are double-glazed, sealed, and weather-trimmed. External cladding, whether treated timber, cedar, or composite, is chosen to resist UV damage and harsh wet conditions.

Professional-Level Performance

Designed to handle the vibration of noisy tools or the requirements of power-reliant work, these buildings are as robust as a traditional garage or brick outbuilding, but with the warmth of a timber structure.

How Your Large Workshop Comes Together

Large garden workshops need careful planning, and we help you get it right. Our expert fitting team ensures the structure is perfectly aligned and weather-sealed. All large workshop orders include free delivery and installation within 150 miles of our Shropshire facility.

1

Confirm Your Size and Usage

Tell us how you plan to use the space. We’ll help match internal zones, structure size, and access features to your specific business or hobby needs.

2

Manufacture in the UK

We build every panel, brace, and door in our Telford workshop. All timber is tanalised and every component is checked before it leaves our facility.

3

Prepare the Base

Larger buildings need solid foundations, typically concrete slabs or reinforced pads. We provide detailed drawings and guidance for your contractor to ensure the base is perfect.

4

Fit and Finish

Our team handles the heavy lifting, completing the install efficiently. Final fit-out includes glazing, weather-sealing, and the installation of any optional internal insulation or electrics.

The team from Noah Garden Rooms were absolutely first class. They arrived on time, were friendly, efficient and got straight on with the job. The building itself is superb quality and construction, and I could not be more pleased.

— Richard Lazenby

The sales team were very helpful at the start and made adding optional extras to the garden room very easy. The quality of the garden room is excellent and the installation team were great. They arrived on time, were friendly, talked me through the process and completed the installation to a high standard.

— Mark Carter-Morris

I cannot fault Noah Garden Rooms. From the first contact with Tilly through to delivery and assembly by Harry and Mat, the whole process was faultless, professional and friendly. I would have no problem using Noah again and would happily recommend them to anyone planning a new garden building.

— Alan Yates

Overall, Noah Garden Rooms have been fabulous. We were impressed with how much scope there was to personalise the build, including the style and location of the window. Installation was incredibly smooth and impressive, with the team arriving early and completing our 8ft x 8ft garden room by the end of the day. The room looks fantastic and we cannot wait to use it. We will be happy to recommend Noah Garden Rooms to anyone who asks.

— Helen Strother

The team took care of everything from start to finish and the build went very smoothly. The team showed real care throughout, and the electrician explained everything clearly. The garden pod is now up and running with the bar installed and the TV up. Everyone likes what has been done.

— William Barlow

I was a little nervous about ordering from a company I did not know much about, but after doing plenty of research I am so glad I chose Noah Garden Rooms. The Otley Deluxe is fantastic, the reinforced floor feels really solid and the room looks great. The fitters, John and Darren, were friendly, skilled and efficient, and I have already used the garden room lots. I would happily recommend Noah Garden Rooms and would use them again in the future.

Do You Need Planning Permission for a Large Workshop?

If your workshop exceeds 2.5 m in height, covers more than 50% of your garden, or is placed near a boundary, you may need planning permission. Additionally, buildings used for commercial purposes may require specific local authority checks.

We help clarify these points and offer design adjustments to meet permitted development criteria where possible. Read our full Planning Guide for detailed advice.

Large Garden Workshops – FAQs

A Large Garden Workshop is specifically designed for those who require more space and versatility in their outdoor structures. Unlike smaller garden buildings, these workshops offer greater floor space, making them perfect for larger projects, storage, or as a functional studio. They can also be customised with insulation and upgrades to suit year-round use, unlike some smaller options that may not provide the same level of comfort or durability.
