By selecting a large-scale 24×12 ft bespoke composite garden room, the client has successfully created a “his and hers” sanctuary in the heart of Bromsgrove. This installation demonstrates how high-end architectural design can provide a professional, side-by-side workspace that maintains individual privacy while sharing the beauty of a unified garden retreat.

Creating a Dedicated, Calming Workspace to Separate Home and Work Life

The client required a dedicated, peaceful space to facilitate remote working away from the distractions of the main house. The brief focused on creating an environment that was both professional and calming, balancing the need for natural light with the requirement for privacy.

A priority was placed on high-quality materials that would age gracefully, ensuring the office felt like a permanent, intentional addition to the garden landscape rather than a temporary installation.

A Large-Scale, High-Performance Pod Designed for Independence

We constructed a 24×12 ft bespoke composite garden room, tailored specifically to the client’s spatial needs. The exterior is finished in sophisticated stone composite cladding, offering a sleek, clean, and incredibly durable facade that requires minimal maintenance.

The design features a perfectly symmetrical layout, with two separate sliding door entrances—one for each office—and integrated tall windows that balance the front elevation, ensuring both sides of the pod receive equal amounts of natural light and garden views.

Designed for Architectural Symmetry and Shared Professional Flexibility

Symmetrical Dual-Entrance Design

The layout is the standout feature of this build. By incorporating two sliding doors, each user has their own dedicated entrance and "zone," which helps delineate the space for two different working styles or professional needs, ensuring that one person leaving for a break doesn't disturb the other.

High-Volume 24x12 Footprint

Spanning 288 square feet, this bespoke pod provides the expansive interior volume necessary to accommodate two full-sized executive office setups. The width allows for plenty of space between desks, preventing the room from feeling cramped and providing room for auxiliary furniture like bookshelves or a shared coffee station.

Engineered Thermal Stability

Because this room serves as a full-time office, we utilised our premium insulation package within the stone composite shell. This ensures a consistent, comfortable temperature throughout the year—a critical factor for the comfort of two occupants who spend the majority of their day inside the building.
